Chrome is now unstable with Wordpress in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic

After around a dozen tab crashes on two separate Ubuntu 9.04 boxes, Chrome cannot be used for my Wordpress blogs/sites. I am using Chrome v.5.0.307.7 Beta.

Anytime a WP New Post is created, it crashes within one minute. I am uncertain if the recent slew of Ubuntu updates caused this or if it is Chrome related.
