Deleting all Contacts from your iPhone

I mistakingly synced ALL 200+ contacts from my GMail account. We all know that not all of our contacts need to be our phone contacts form. The only known method of deleting contacts from your phone is to eliminate them one by one. Since my contacts have already been imported, the only quick method at our disposal, without jailbreaking the phone, is to import contacts from a supported email account with few to no contacts.

Using iTunes, select your device, go to the Info tab, and then scroll to the botton of the page. Check the Contacts radio button. For one sync, this will cause a directional sync from your computer to your iPhone instead of doing a merge. Select the sync to replace all contacts on your iPhone. It worked like a charm for me!
